Kianga Jinaki

I grew up in  Baltimore in the 60’s and 70’s,

 writing poetry and making collages. After moving to South Florida in the late 80’s, I began creatIng dolls and quilts.  I Work primarily with African textiles, hand-dyed fabrics and beads to tell our stories. In 2025 I returned to Baltimore excited about this next chapter.
